WILLIAMS WINS THRILLER AT DODGE CITY; HUISH STREAK SNAPPED

4/18/2026 Dodge City, KS (www.urssracing.com) — A strong field of 25 United Rebel Sprint Series entries checked in at Dodge City Raceway Park, and it was Ty Williams who stood tall at the end of 25 laps, picking up his 33rd career URSS victory and fourth at the famed 3/8-mile.

Starting on the pole of the Eby Trailers & Truck Bodies A Feature, Williams set the tone early, but the battle for the win stayed intense all race long. Zach Blurton, returning to URSS competition after racing with ASCS in recent seasons, was right there in contention. The all-time winningest driver in series history chased his 41st career win, staying within striking distance but ultimately settling for second.

Behind them, Jeremy Huish delivered one of the night’s best drives, charging from 8th to finish 3rd.

However, the bigger storyline for Huish came with what didn’t happen.

With Williams’ victory, Huish’s incredible nine-race winning streak at Dodge City Raceway Park came to an end. The streak dated back to April 6, 2024, and ran through September 27, 2025—one of the most dominant runs at a single track in URSS history.

Jeremy Campbell and Taylor Velasquez completed the top five, with Velasquez advancing six positions in the feature. Other notable movers included Jason Wilson, who came from 18th to finish 9th in his URSS and RaceSaver debut.

Heat race wins earlier in the evening went to Ray Seemann, Ace Moore, and Blurton, setting the stage for a competitive main event.

In the end, the night belonged to Ty Williams—adding another major win to his résumé, holding off one of the best in the business, and putting an end to one of the most impressive streaks Dodge City has seen.
