Eli Ross Claims Victory on Opening Night of 2025 United Rebel Late Model Season
Enid, OK – The 2025 United Rebel Late Model season roared to life Friday night with a thrilling co-sanctioned event alongside the Sooner Late Model Series at Enid Speedway. A competitive field of 23 entries battled for the first victory of the season, but it was Muskogee, Oklahoma’s Eli Ross who emerged victorious after a strong performance throughout the night.
Ross set the tone early, winning his heat race to earn a prime starting position for the 25-lap A-Feature, sponsored by the Hayden Ross Motorsports Foundation. He capitalized on that momentum, fending off tough competition to secure the win in the season opener.
“It feels amazing to start the season with a win,” said Ross. “The competition was tough tonight, but everything came together for us. I have to thank my team and everyone who supports me. This is a great way to kick off 2025.”
Charlie Olsen brought home a strong second-place finish, with Dan Smith rounding out the podium in third. The top five was completed by Kip Hughes in fourth and Delbert Smith in fifth.
