Moore the Merrier: Kris Moore and Sons Return to the United Rebel Sprint Series
DODGE CITY, KS – March 16, 2025 – Moore Motorsports is gearing up for an exciting 2025 season as Kris Moore and his sons, Zak and Ace, make their return to the Sprint Car scene. The family-run team has announced plans to compete in 10-12 races with the United Rebel Sprint Series (URSS) while maintaining an ambitious schedule in Micro Sprints.
For 2025, Moore Motorsports will shift from their usual 50+ Micro Sprint events to a balanced schedule that includes both full-size Sprint Cars and Micro Sprints. The team is eager to return to Dodge City, where they will race in front of their hometown fans and dedicated sponsors. In addition to their URSS campaign, they will travel across multiple states for 30-35 major Micro Sprint events, culminating with the prestigious Tulsa Shootout.
Driver Lineup:
Zak Moore – Driving the No. 49Z in both Micro Sprints and Sprint Cars.
Ace Moore – Piloting the No. 49A in Micro Sprints and Sprint Cars.
Kris Moore – Returning behind the wheel of the No. 49 Sprint Car, while also competing in select Micro Sprint events.
Kris Moore is no stranger to the URSS, having claimed his first and only URSS-sanctioned victory at WaKeeney Speedway in 2016. His sons, Ace and Zak, have also made a name for themselves, earning multiple wins in Micro Sprints at tracks like Airport Raceway (Garden City, KS) and Port City in Tulsa, Ok. In 2022, Zak Moore gained valuable Sprint Car experience, competing in 12 races with his best finish of 8th coming at Dodge City Raceway Park.
"We're thrilled to be back in Sprint Cars while still keeping our strong presence in Micro Sprints," said team owner and driver Kris Moore. "It's going to be an exciting challenge, and we can't wait to hit the track with URSS and our Micro Sprint program."
