Cranston Race Team and Jeremy Huish Part Ways after One Season

1/18/2025 Ness City, Kansas(www.urssracing.com) - After one season under the helm of Cranston Racing, the Jetmore, Kansas native Jeremy Huish and multi time championship car owner Steve Cranston have parted ways.

The announcement comes just 8 weeks away from the drop of the green flag in the 2025 season. In 2024, Huish quickly turned heads after a previous season that ended up with a RaceSaver Nationals win at Eagle Raceway. When Huish announced that he and the Cranston Racing Team would join forces, it was only a matter of time.

Starting the season off on the right turn, Huish dominated a stout field of 305 drivers from across the nation to win the Inaugural DCRP 305 Sprint Car Nationals and a $5,000. In addition, Huish proved his rank as one of the top 305 sprint car drivers in the country by consistently running up front throughout the 2024 season. Piloting the Cranston Racing machine, he picked up multiple feature wins and podium finishes at tracks across the Midwest. His aggressive yet calculated driving style made him a fan favorite and a formidable competitor on race night.

“I can’t thank Steve and the Cranston Racing Family enough for the opportunity,” Huish said in a statement. “We accomplished a lot together, and I’m grateful for everything we were able to achieve. That being said, I’m excited for what the future holds, and I look forward to announcing my plans for the 2025 season soon.”

Cranston Racing also issued a statement, acknowledging the success of their partnership while wishing Huish the best in his future endeavors. “Jeremy is a talented driver, and we’re proud of what we accomplished together,” Cranston said. “We’ll be announcing our plans for the upcoming season soon and look forward to continuing our winning tradition.”
